No one home to call my friend
On my own again
I thought she’d stay, but it’s the end
I used to think because I had her
Had it made
I used to think cause she was there
There’d never be bad days
But reality got in the way
On my own again
I never thought it’d end this way
On my own again
I guess someday I'll feel OK
I tried to make it work this time
Lord knows I tried
I can’t hold back the tears much longer
I just can’t help but cry
I've lost my heart with my pride
On my own again
I have to face the world some way
On my own again
Just have to get through each new day, but
In my mind I see her on the day we met
Standing there so beautiful
It’s a day I can’t forget
A day I still can’t regret
On my own again
Can't bring back a life that's gone
On my own again
But I’ll survive
I’ll carry on
